A place with a soul

Some places are built.
This one is crafted.

There is a bend in the Salt River where Kentucky’s past still feels close enough to touch. That is where we are building something worth passing down.

5 Petals Homestead is a community of just five custom homes in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, directly across the Salt River from Four Roses Distillery. Bourbon heritage shapes the place from the beginning: the warmth of aged wood, the glow of copper, the weight of stone, and the beauty of craftsmanship that takes its time.

Each home is designed to feel as though it has belonged here for 150 years. Behind that timeless character is a new home, thoughtfully crafted for life today. The result is a rare kind of luxury—personal, grounded in its surroundings, and impossible to mistake for anywhere else.

Rustic luxury. Kentucky soul.

A collection of5custom homes

Small by design. Extraordinary by intention.

Five homes.
A legacy all their own.

Only five houses are being built at 5 Petals Homestead. That small scale is part of what makes this place special: room for individual character, a shared sense of place, and a community shaped around the land.

Every home carries the same commitment to Kentucky heritage and luxury rustic craftsmanship. Each tells its own story through the details.

Heritage you can feel.
Details you won’t forget.

Wood. Stone. Copper. Metal. Materials with texture and character, brought together by a builder who sees what they can become.

Bourbon in
the bones.

Look up. Bourbon barrels rest above massive timbers. Below them, a bar becomes the heart of the home—a place for a good pour, a long conversation, and another story before the night is through.

Reclaimed wood, live-edge surfaces, stone, and aged metal turn Kentucky’s distilling heritage into something you live with every day.

A little wild.
A lot of luxury.

A copper soaking tub. Lantern-style lighting. Stone and weathered metal. A room that feels discovered, with comfort built into every decision.

This is the kind of creativity that makes you stop in a doorway, take another look, and wonder how somebody imagined it in the first place.

III.

Built new.
With an old soul.

Stone arches frame unexpected treasures. Circle-sawn cabinets and live-edge shelves give the kitchen a character all its own. Every grain, seam, and weathered surface adds another layer.

The aim is simple: a home that feels rooted in Kentucky’s past and ready for your next chapter.

The 5 Petals feeling

“You stop. You look around.
And you ask—
how the hell did he do this?”
That is the feeling we build for.

The hands behind the homes

Turning rustic into luxury.

Designed and built by Kevan White of AK White Homes.

For more than 30 years, Kevan has built homes with a feel for timber, stone, and the stories a place can tell. His North Georgia mountain roots meet Kentucky bourbon heritage at 5 Petals—a personal vision brought to life one detail at a time.

“Anybody can build something new. The challenge is building something new that feels like it has always been there.”
